Ernotte-Cunci re-elected as President of France Télévisions
May 15, 2025
French media regulator Arcom has appointed Delphine Ernotte-Cunci as President of France Télévisions for a record third time. Her latest five year tenure will commence on August 22nd.
Arcom cited “continuity” in its reasoning for reappointing Ernott- Cunci, but she lacked any major competition as potential candidates were reportedly discouraged to apply by the climate of uncertainty in the country’s public broadcasting sector.
In her application, Ernotte-Cunci stressed that she wanted to give priority to the france.tv streaming platform and rethink the organisation of the public broadcaster around the platform.
In addition to her role at France Télévisions, Ernotte-Cunci has been serving as President of the EBU since January 2021.
