RJOY streaming service launches

June 16, 2026

RisingJoy has announced the launch of RJOY, its direct-to-consumer micro-entertainment streaming service, initially available to audiences in the US and Japan. The service launches via TikTok Minis, the in-app feature that allows users to access vertical content, placing RJOY directly in front of one of the world’s largest and most engaged mobile audiences.

“RJOY is the natural next step for RisingJoy,” commented Cassandra Yang, CEO and Co-founder, at today’s APOS conference. “In just a short time since our launch, we have curated some of the world’s best microdrama content and building the distribution relationships to match. RJOY brings that together in a direct-to-consumer experience, backed by partners who share our belief that micro-entertainment is one of the most significant content opportunities of this generation.”

Alongside RisingJoy’s existing curated catalogue, RJOY launches with 20 RJOY Originals lined up for release in the second half of 2026. The originals slate available immediately spans different genres and formats, including AI anime and AI human.

These include anime shows: Addicted to the Dark Boss and Hide My Secret in the Moonlight – adapted from existing hit microdramas; AI human titles: The Substitute Bride’s Secret Wonderland (pictured) and Blind Spoiled; as well as Locked Away, I Break Unbreakable, which is an original fantasy anime. They are all purpose-built for the vertical screen, combining RisingJoy’s content expertise with emerging AI production capabilities.

With its distribution network established and its consumer service now live, RisingJoy says it is advancing its ambitions as a full-service micro entertainment studio, with original IP and co-production at the centre of its next phase of growth.
