January 8, 2025
Plex, the streaming media company, is teaming up with Advanced HDR by Technicolor to enhance the visual quality of its ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) services.
This integration of the Advanced HDR by Technicolor solution enables Plex to deliver superior brightness, contrast and colour accuracy, ensuring a premium viewing experience for its audience.
“As more consumers see the upgraded viewing experience that HDR provides, the demand for HDR content grows. Consumers have come to expect streaming services and TV broadcasts to have the highest image quality possible,” said Rick Dumont, Head of Business Development for HDR at Philips.
