The series is set to launch on WBD platforms in early 2025.

In the episode entitled Tumours Forced My Eye Out: Body Bizarre, Amit Ghose from Birmingham, England battles tumours that grow on nerves all over his body, At 11 years old, Amit lost his right eye when his most prominent tumour on his face pushed his eye out of his skull but this can’t stop his incredible and inspiring passion for life. Mari Jade, who woke up paralysed from the waist down aged 19 after a night out continues to suffer over 40 Seizures a day as a result of her Functional Neurological Disorder, and a 9 year old girl, Rajeshwari from Chattisgarh, seeks out medical expertise for relief from the rare skin condition that causes extreme stone-like blisters to form all over her body.

TVF and Future Studios showcased the title to international buyers in Cannes at last week’s MIPCOM market.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Future to bring back one of our best loved medical series that still resonates with audiences internationally. The show is going back to its roots, with the same three story in-depth, medical focused structure of the original Body Bizarre, but with the celebratory elements of previous Future series Unbelievable Me bringing it up to date for 2025, each story with incredible heart and resilience at its core.” said Myriam Lopez-Otazu – Group VP Content & Acquisitions, EMEA at WBD.
