Authentic Distribution closes deals for factual content

Authentic Distribution, a distributor of factual content, has announced a series of new sales deals with international broadcasters, further expanding the reach of its diverse portfolio of documentaries and series worldwide.
Japan’s NHK Japan has added two documentaries from Autentic Distribution to its lineup. A Life Among Elephants tells the remarkable story of pioneering scientist and maverick conservationist Iain Douglas-Hamilton, who dedicated his life to saving elephants in Africa, while Wings of Courage – The Eagle Huntress of Mongolia is about a young girl determined to break into the male-dominated tradition of eagle hunting.
National Geographic has secured the worldwide rights to Seasons 1 and 2 of Colossal Machines, exploring the engineering and technology behind some of the world’s most massive and complex machines. Through CGI and expert insights, the series reveals the inner workings and unique features of these mechanical giants, from ground-crushing excavators to nuclear-powered marvels.
Canal+ Poland has signed a 59-hour package deal with Autentic Distribution, acquiring a range of action-packed series and documentaries. The deal includes all three seasons of Hot Roads – The World’s Most Dangerous Roads, Deadly Roads, Highway to the Arctic – Canada’s Ice Roads, the automotive series GRIP, and all four seasons of the history series What Went Wrong, exploring the man-made disasters and catastrophes that shocked the world.
