XL8 clears SOC 2 Type II audit

XL8, a deep-tech startup specialising in AI-powered machine translation technology, has announced the successful completion of a System and Organisation Controls (SOC) 2 Type II audit, performed by Sensiba.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 information security audit delivers a comprehensive report examining controls relevant to the trust services criteria categories. XL8’s SOC 2 Type II report, which evaluates both the design and effectiveness of specified controls over a period, received a “clean” audit opinion from Sensiba, indicating no exceptions were noted.
Jay Park, XL8’s Chief Technology Officer, expressed satisfaction with the completion of the SOC 2 Type II audit, confirming that the company’s internal controls and processes effectively safeguard its customers’ sensitive information and data. Park emphasised XL8’s continuous efforts to bolster security measures, building upon previous achievements such as SOC 2 compliance, to protect customers’ content in the media supply chain.
