Mitre Studios appoints Davies as Head of Development, TV

Davies‘ role will be leading Mitre Studios’ development team and will be responsible for creating a pipeline of shows targeting the Entertainment, Fact Ent and Reality genres for both linear channels and streaming services in both the UK and globally.
Davies said: “ I’m thrilled to be joining Mitre Studios to help the hugely talented Ed and Jack implement the company’s creative strategy and build an exciting new slate of factual entertainment and entertainment shows. Ant and Dec are not just powerhouse national treasures who have been entertaining us for years fronting some of the biggest shows on the planet – they are also absolutely brilliant producers in their own right and I can’t wait to get started dreaming up the next generation of ambitious global formats with the team.”
Prior to joining Mitre Studios as Head of Development, Davies has led development teams and held senior positions at a range of companies including; Workerbee, Spun Gold, BBC Studios, Viacom, Naked and Boundless, developing and creating shows such as Snowflake Mountain for Netflix and The Real Full Monty series for ITV.
Mitre Managing Director, Ed Sleeman, added: “ We are delighted to have attracted Holly to Mitre Studios.
