Digi now Spain’s fourth largest telco

Romanian telco Digi is performing well in Spain. significantly increasing its number of customers and revenues. The company has announced that it now has 6.1 customers after gaining 337,000 in the third quarter, making it the fourth largest telco in the country. Year-on-year Digi’s customer basis has grown by 32 per cent, over 1.5 million, with over 1.24 million customers now having an FTTH connection. Total revenues in the third quarter amounted to €166 million, and €465 million in the first nine months of the year, up 30 per cent versus the same period last year.
EBITDA in the third quarter amounted to €36 million and over €92 million to September 30th, up 92 per cent and 82 per cent, respectively, on the same periods last year.
