Narrative relaunching GREAT! christmas channel

UK broadcaster Narrative Entertainment has announced the annual launch of popular seasonal channel, GREAT! christmas, on September 7th.
The festive channel reached 5 million people in the last 12 months and grew its commercial impacts by 20 per cent year on year in contrast to a market decline of -5 per cent which delivered share of commercial impacts growth of 26 per cent.
With channels spanning Movies and Entertainment, the GREAT! network – which also consists of channel brands GREAT! movies, GREAT! action, GREAT! romance and GREAT! tv – has seen its SOV rise 12 per cent year on year.
Steve Hornsey, Narrative Entertainment’s VP, Movies & Entertainment, commented: “At Narrative Entertainment, we’re always excited to bring GREAT! christmas and its array of festive content to our growing audiences. After a record-breaking year in 2022, GREAT! christmas will now be available nationally so that even more of the UK can enjoy the seasonal spirit. The channel is full of fun, light-hearted films with a touch of tinsel that really resonate with audiences who are looking for upbeat content and lovely Christmas stories.”
GREAT! christmas will be available on Freeview channel 52, Sky channel 319, Virgin channel 424, and Freesat channel 303.
