Simplestream collaborates with TELUS to build Livestream Scheduler for Optik TV

Simplestream, a provider of next-generation TV solutions, has partnered with TELUS, a communications technology company based in Canada, to enhance their Optik TV Livestreaming offering to bring the best of live sports and community programming to the comfort of Canadians’ homes.
TELUS Optik TV serves the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec. The Optik TV Livestreaming service offers some of the most unique local sports programming, including national, regional and youth sporting events spanning hockey, basketball, soccer, volleyball and ringette – as well as diverse faith, arts, culture, science and community programming tailored to customers’ interests.
The capabilities of Livestream Scheduler include the ability for content partners, their user groups, and users to deliver and manage live programming using an intuitive web-based UI.
