AEW CEO and General Manager Tony Khan has annpunced that CM Punk will return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on June 17th for the premiere episode of AEW Collision, live from the United Center in Chicago.
Punk was last seen in AEW at the All Out event on September 4th when he defeated Jon Moxley to win his second AEW World Championship. In the match, Punk tore a muscle in his arm that required major surgery and was later involved in an explosive post-media scrum and backstage altercation. He was consequently stripped of the title.
Now, 9 months later, Punk will make his return at AEW Collision, which is being held in his home town. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
