France Télévisions, Molotov 4K Roland-Garros channels

French broadcaster France Télévisions and OTT platform Molotov have announced a partnership to broadcast 4K channels offering coverage the of Roland-Garros tennis open.
Two UHD dedicated France.tv sport channels, in HDR and HDR10, will air until June 11th covering all daytime matches played from the Philippe Chatrier court. A standard definition channel is also available
This channels are available to Molotov Plus, Extra and Extended package subscribers for an additional €5.99 fee.
4K is part of France Télévisions’ objective to use the tennis tournament to bring AI and immersive features to sports fans. The group’s digital and technological partners such as Hawk-Eye Innovations and 4DViews, are set to present several features combining AI, motion capture and volumetric video, and using platforms VR Chat and Roblox, as well as content made for VR headsets and Sony 3D screens.
With Korean company DeepBrain AI, France Télévisions has also created a virtual assistant that will introduce, in French and English, all these innovations.
