Astro adds WeTV on Ultra Box

Astro has added WeTV, a streaming service from Chinese tech giant Tencent, to its Ultra Box service across Malaysia.
WeTV boasts a wide catalogue of Asian content such as Chinese dramas Prosecution Elite (coming soon) starring Dilraba Dilmurat, Tong Dawei, Gao Xin, and You Jingru, The Love You Give Me which is an adaptation of the popular novel by Shi Ding Rou, action-romance series Love of Replica (pictured) and fantasy-romance Lost You Forever (coming soon); Indonesian web series Layangan Putus and romance drama Antares 1 & 2; as well as action-fantasy Donghua (Chinese anime) including Soul Land, Swallowed Star, Perfect World and Throne of Seal.
Astro’s collaboration with WeTV marks the eleventh premium streaming app to join the Astro family, namely BBC Player, beIN Sports Connect, Disney+ Hotstar, HBO GO, iQIYI, Netflix, TVBAnywhere+, Viu, WeTV and ZEE5, in addition to its own Astro GO app which is complimentary to all customers.
