TIM renews Disney+ distribution agreement
May 18, 2023

Italian multiplay telco TIM and Walt Disney Company Italia have renewed the agreement for the distribution of SVoD service Disney+ in combination with the TimVision offer and TIM’s ultrabroadband offers.
On TimVision, customers will be able to see, both at home and on the move, all the entertainment offered by Disney+, the dedicated streaming home for movies and series from the iconic brands Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, as well as Star’s general entertainment.
“The renewal of this important agreement is hinged on our consolidated relations with Disney, which back in 2020 chose TIM as its strategic partner,” commented Andrea Rossini, Chief Consumer, Small & Medium Market Officer, TIM. “With TimVision, we make the most complete streaming platform on the Italian television scene available to an increasingly broad, demanding public, acting as an aggregator of contents offering the very best of premium entertainment thanks to collaborations like this one.”
“We are happy to renew our collaboration with TIM, continuing to offer their customers the rich Disney+ catalogue,” added Daniel Frigo, Country Manager The Walt Disney Company Italy, Turkey, Israel & Greece. “A great heritage of storytelling that has distinguished our Company for 100 years and that, also thanks to the general entertainment offer, is intended for an ever wider audience.”
