Spain: Over 27m watch connected TV

Over 27 million Spaniards have access to TV content through a connected TV, representing 82 per cent of all local Internet users from 16 to 75 years old in the country, according to the Estudio de la Televisión Conectada 2022 report by IAB Spain.
Six out of ten Internet users watch TV through a Smart TV whereas 49 per cent use a different device such as STB, smartphone, tablet, PC or gaming console.
Connected TV is very popular among people aged 16-30 with an 87 per cent penetration followed by those aged 31-51 years old with an 85 per cent penetration. The most widely watched platforms are Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, HBO, Disney+, Movistar Plus, Atresplayer and MiTele.
