The Pandavas to premiere on POGO
April 21, 2022
Seasons 1 and 2 of The Pandavas – a new Indian co-production – premieres on April 23 exclusively on POGO, with new episodes every weekend.
Inspired by local legends and mythological tales, the childhood of the Pandava brothers is retold and brought to life with their adventures and heroic battles.
The action-packed series (13 half-hours per season) is produced in collaboration with Hi-Tech Animation using cutting-edge CGI technology. The show chronicles the five princes – Righteous Yudhishtir, Powerful Bheem, Astute Arjun, Adventurous Nakul and Valorant Sahadev – in their days as students.
Leslie Lee, Head of POGO, Cartoon Network and Boomerang in Asia Pacific, said, “The Pandavas is an epic tale, told with a contemporary approach that’s both entertaining and exhilarating. The whole family will enjoy the show’s funny and nuanced characters as they demonstrate the true meaning of sibling bonds.”
A further two series of The Pandavas are in development.
