Mega Max Media has announced the launch of ducktv, its educational children’s channel, on the UK DTT platform Freeview via Channelbox.
It is the first kids’ channel in the Channelbox portfolio. ducktv offers educational programming aimed at pre-school children from 6 months to 4-years-old. It offers original animation, mini-cartoon series and real-life content produced exclusively for the channel.
Channelbox is a streaming TV service that bundles a curated selection of free-to-air TV channels of various genres and languages – delivering them to the Freeview platform (on channel 271) via OTT.
Iza Piotrowska, Director of Affiliate Sales and Business Development at Mega Max Media, said: “We are delighted to join the Channelbox platform as the first children’s channel in their offering. We are confident that our high-quality, specialised toddler content designed to support early learning will enrich and add value to Channelbox programming offer”.
