BBC acquires more Canadian Drag Race
October 27, 2021
Following the success of the first Canadian series, BBC Three has acquired series two of Canada’s Drag Race from World of Wonder, bringing it back to BBC iPlayer in December 2021.
The second series will drop as a ten-part boxset on BBC iPlayer, alongside a special anniversary episode with Canada’s First Drag Superstar, Priyanka, looking back at all the highlights of series one.
Series two will see 12 Canadian drag artists competing for the title of Canada’s Next Drag Superstar. Each episode will test their talents and challenge them to master singing, dancing, acting, impersonation, costume making and improvisation.
Additionally, the BBC has announced that casting for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season four is now open.
