A Soyuz rocket, operated by Arianespace, will launch 36 OneWeb satellites on October 14th from Russia’s Vostochny Cosmodrome. They will be launched into a near-Polar orbit at a target height of 450 kms.
Launch time is targeted for 6.40pm (local time).
This flight will be the 61st for a Soyuz rocket and the 11th for OneWeb. The launch will take the total OneWeb fleet to 358 craft. The total constellation will be 648 satellites.
Once deployed, the OneWeb constellation will enable user terminals that are capable of offering 3G, LTE, 5G and Wi-Fi coverage, providing high-speed access globally – by air, sea and land.
