Netherlands: WildEarth on KPN
August 3, 2021
WildEarth has announced the launch of its wildlife and nature channel on KPN in The Netherlands. This partnership confirms the Dutch passion for safaris and marks a major step forward in connecting millions of KPN subscribers to immersive nature programming.
The WildEarth channel will be available on channel 86 of the Plus Package and features a variety of live and interactive, ‘front seat’ experiences from dozens of game reserves and parks.
“With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting travel restrictions, people’s ability to connect with nature has been reduced at a time the need for it is at its highest. WildEarth is looking forward to bringing nature and wildlife into KPN viewers homes in an immersive and engaging manner so as to help restore that lost connection” said Graham Wallington, CEO and Co-Founder of WildEarth.
Jochem de Jong, KPN’s Director of Partnerships added “KPN is always looking for new opportunities to improve customer experiences with the best partnerships. Giving Plus Package customers the opportunity to travel virtually supports this mission. We are looking forward to a great partnership with WildEarth.”
