Prime Video orders Fallout TV series
July 3, 2020
Amazon Prime Video is partnering with the creators of HBO drama Westworld to adapt Bethesda’s long-running post-apocalyptic video game series Fallout for a TV series.
Amazon released a short teaser video for the show on its Twitter account, with flashed up the words “Amazon Original” and “Please stand by”.
Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, as well as production company Kilter Films, will bring Fallout to TV screens with Prime Video.
“Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time,” said Joy and Nolan in a statement. “Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we’re incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.”
