January 24, 2020
Eleven Sports will be the exclusive media partner for the Belgian leg of Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather’s Legendary Icon Tour next month.
Mayweather will travel to Antwerp with his Money Man team for an exhibition basketball match against leading Belgian side the Antwerp Giants at the Lotto Arena on February 28th. The game will be shown live on Eleven Sports Belgium, with fans given the chance to see the iconic fighter battling it out on the court with some of Belgium’s top basketballers.
To celebrate one of the greatest fighters of all time, leading Belgium boxers Delfine Persoon, Bilal Laggoune and Yves Ngabu will provide the pre-game entertainment with a workout session courtside.
Guillaume Collard, Managing Director, Eleven Sports Belgium & Luxembourg and Group Head of Acquisitions, said: “Eleven Sports broadcast the Money Fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor back in 2017. Mayweather is a guy who really resonates with fans in Belgium, so we’re excited to have the chance to bring the Money Man back to our fans, in a fun and unique way. It should be a great night.”
