Walmart selling Vudu?
November 1, 2019
Walmart, the US shopping giant, is the latest company seeking (following Sony’s lead) to get out out of the crowded streaming market following reports it is looking to offload its Vudu video service.
Reports originated in The Information that the retailer was looking to sell its 15-year-old on demand video service.
Walmart told FOX Business that Vudu is “constantly having and open to conversations with new and existing partners to explore opportunities for continued growth; however, we never share details of those discussions.”
