From David Del Valle in Madrid
Mediaset Spain increased its profits by 6.8 per cent to €157 million in the first nine months of the year. This despite the 5.1 per cent fall in its net revenues to €660.7 million as a result of the advertising crisis.
EBITDA grew by 5.3 per cent to €203.9 million, representing 30.9 per cent of its total revenues. EBIT stood at €190.2 million, up 4.7 per cent.
The increase by 12.9 per cent of revenues from its digital business, sale of TV rights and others to €44.2 million compensated the 6.3 per cent drop of ad TV revenues to €644 million.
