Mitele Plus under fire from consumers
September 10, 2019
From David del Vallein Madrid
Spain’s largest consumers Association, OCU, has severely criticised Mediaset’s OTT service, Mitle Plus, accusing it of being low quality, expensive and poor on compatibility.
The Association said that the service “has not meet the expectations” following its debut which has been hampered by many technical failures. It also said Mitele is an “expensive” service, commenting: “The price is not as competitive as its predecessor beIN Sports’ €9.99, as users now pay over triple that. In addition, they are obliged to take on an Internet fixed connection with a price between €25-30.”
It also accuses the platform of low compatibioptions lity as it currently only works with Samsung and LG smart TVs.
