Quibi, the short form video platform, has announced that WWE will be creating original content for its soon-to-launch service.
Stephanie McMahon, the Chief Brand Officer at WWE, will host a new show entitled Fight Like a Girl. Each episode will pair a WWE Superstar with a young woman struggling with a personal issue that has been holding her back. The WWE Superstars will draw from their own life experiences, to help their trainees overcome obstacles and become tougher, stronger and healthier versions of their former selves.
Shot at WWE’s Performance Center, each episode is said to features “a stunning transformation and heart-pounding reveal as the women change their lives forever”.
Quibi, fronted by founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, is set for an April 2020 launch.
