Mediapro, Televisa sign TV production deal

Spain’s TVMediapro and Mexican TV giant Televisa, have signed a multi-year production alliance to co-develop and co-produce drama series for Mexico and the US.
The deal includes the TV series Unwanted and Stroke from Argentina’s Oficina Burman. Under the terms of the deal, for three years, Televisa will produce the content in Mexico with Mediapro being responsible for the creative part.
Mediapro will now further consolidate its position in the International TV market where it has production agreements with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, DirecTV Latin America, Fox Networks Group, TNT Spain, Viacom Intl. Media Networks Americas, HBO, Turner Latin America and Disney Media Distribution Latin America.
