Belgium: Telenet extends Premier League rights

Telenet has extended the broadcasting rights for the English Premier League for a further 3 years. Live matches will continue to air on Play Sports until 2022.
Telenet Director Sports Manu Leroy, commented: “We know that the Premier League is very important for our customers. Thanks to this agreement, they can continue to follow the Belgian toppers from the front row on Play Sports for the next 3.5 seasons.”
On average, Play Sports broadcasts five live matches per weekend live. For matches that are not broadcast live, there are highlights shown on Sports Late Night on Saturday and Sunday, and on a dedicated Premier League channel, where viewers can also go for extra content such as previews and player interviews.
