DAZN scores FA Cup rights in Germany

OTT sports service DAZN has agreed a six-season deal to show FA Cup matches in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, from the this season to 2023-24.
The FA Cup will join DAZN’s other English football content which include matches from the League Cup and the Championship.
DAZN’s FA Cup coverage will begin from the third round (when Premier league clubs enter the competition) on January 5th which starts next year. It will show all matches live from the quarter-finals onwards.
FA Cup rights in Germany were previously held by sports broadcaster Eurosport.
The news of the deal comes just 2 weeks after Sky Deutschland regained the Premier League rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (and Luxembourg and Liechtenstein) from DAZN.
