MTV UK is launching a brand new music channel for 16 – 34s, MTV OMG (“obsessed with music & gossip”) that will feature all the biggest names and hits of the moment, as well as all the latest showbiz gossip.

MTV OMG will launch on the March 1st and will be available as a pay-TV channel on Sky and Virgin. It will include a wide variety of content including The Official Charts: Weekly Top 40, themed countdowns and quizzes. MTV OMG will join the rest of the MTV Music Pack which currently includes MTV Music, MTV Base, MTV Hits,  MTV Dance, MTV Rocks, MTV Classic, VH1 UK, MTV Music +1 and replaces FTA channel VIVA, as the brand looks to invest further in music TV on MTV and its sister brands.
