Amazon ditches cable bundle plans
November 16, 2017
Amazon has axed plans to launch an online streaming service bundling US broadcast and cable networks because it believes it cannot make enough money on such a service, according to a Reuters report.
The online retail giant has also been unable to convince key broadcast and basic cable networks to join its a la carte Amazon Channels service, the report said, and has backed away from talks with them.
