SPI launches FunBox UHD channel in Qatar

SPI International / FilmBox Channels Group has launched the FunBox UHD channel on Qatar’s Ooredoo tv.
FunBox UHD is a global general entertainment channel broadcast in UHD quality. It features compelling primetime programming and documentaries on nature, wildlife, society, music videos, sports, arts and culture and more. The channel is available to all subscribers of Ooredoo tv, including ‘Essentials’ subscribers, as the company continues to offer leading international and local content to its customers.
“We are glad to bring the Ultra HD channel to viewers in Qatar,” says Murat Muratoglu, SPI’s head of distribution for the Middle East. “It is important for us to expand our UHD distribution footprint into new markets such as Qatar following our recent launches in Romania, Portugal, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Turkey.”
