RelayCaster goes Cloud
November 7, 2016
RelayCaster is Motama’s award-winning solution for broadcast-grade live contribution over unmanaged long-distance Internet links. With RelayCaster’s ability to fix packet loss rates of 25 per cent and more, this offers a cost-effective alternative to satellite links, dedicated links or fibre.
RelayCaster is now available for testing in Amazon’s cloud services, Amazon AWS. Free evaluation licences can be requested from Motama, which can be combined with all existing units of the RelayCaster product family.
‘With RelayCaster for Amazon AWS we fulfill a wish often expressed by our customers’, Marco Lohse, CEO of Motama, explains. ‘RelayCaster allows you to solve the first-mile and last-mile problem: How to bring your live streams to the cloud and later out of the cloud again, in a reliable and secure way? With our solution, you can seamlessly combine on-premise and cloud work-flows.’
