Viceland for Canal+

Vice Media’s channel Viceland will launch in France on November 23rd exclusively on Canal+.
Aimed at young adults aged from 16 to 34, and covering all their potential cultural interests such as music, technology, gaming and environmental issues, the new channel will be available on all TV devices, via the myCanal app, and on Canal à la demande catch-up service,s as well as various bundles including Essentiel Famille by Canal Panorama on Free and Famille by Canal on Orange.
The French version of the channel is the first non-English speaking extension. Half of its content will be locally produced by the Vice team based in Paris. The channel will launch with a documentary on French youth entitled Census, followed by the Vice News US edition.
Vice Media has been present in France since 2007. Its investigative journalism platform claims 10 million unique users each month. 75 per cent of them are between 18 and 35 years old.
