Sky D: ‘Hello UHD, good-bye 3D’
October 6, 2016
Sky Deutschland has confirmed it will cease broadcasting its 3D linear channel in mid-2017 due to dwindling interest.
Meantime, it will launch its Ultra HD channel Sky Sport Bundesliga UHD on October 14th , with live coverage of the match between Borussia Dortmund and Hertha. It will then provide one UHD Bundesliga match per week on DTH – and also on some cable networks.
