Spain: Football TV price war for venues

The Football TV price war is intensifying in with the launch by Orange of the lowest-cost football package for Spanish bars available on the market.
For €253.6 a month bars get a convergent package with live football games from La Liga and Segunda División (second division), Copa del Rey, the Champions League, the UEFA League and International Leagues until the end of the season.
Orange’s offer is 5.21 per cent cheaper than Vodafone’s at €267.55 and 7.77 per cent cheaper than Telefonica’s at €274.99. Also, during the first three months the promotion costs €224.1.
In the residential market, Orange is offering all football at €5 a month for the whole season under a promotion until September 30. Vodafone is also offering the same with a price of €6 a month.
