DAZN leverages Massive technology
August 10, 2016
Massive Interactive has announced that Massive AXIS, its Video App UI solution, has been selected by DAZN to deploy its new live and on-demand sports streaming service. Massive AXIS is enabling DAZN to provide sports fans with unlimited access to a wide array of live sports on one streaming service with over 8,000 live events per year. The service officially launched in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and, as of August 10th, Japan.
“Our sports fans demand unrivalled access anytime, anywhere and on a number of devices,” says Ben Lavender, CPO of DAZN. “Working with Massive gives us the expertise and proven technology we need to launch such an ambitious new service. The fact that Massive has already successfully delivered these types of large-scale video service projects for Tier 1 operators brings a lot of confidence to the project.”
Through the use of Massive AXIS, DAZN offers subscribers extensive device support including Smart TVs, smartphones, tablets and games consoles.
