Netflix has taken its first foray into virtual reality content with the launch of a VR experience on YouTube.
Netflix original series Stranger Things – a homage to 80s adventure movies that has been a big summer hit for the company – provides the content for the VR experience which offers viewers the chance to step into the spooky atmosphere of the show in a 2 minute clip. Viewers are able to explore the darkness with 360 degree views and attempt to spot the lurking monster.
The Stranger Things VR clip can be viewed on Android devices via Google Cardboard, or is compatible with all VR headsets.
