Bloomberg Radio is joining Radioplayer, the listening platform backed by the BBC and commercial radio, in a deal that will enable it to reach an additional six million potential listeners in the UK.
Bloomberg Radio delivers 24/7 market-moving news and analysis to a global audience of business leaders, financial professionals and C-suite executives. Originating from its London, New York, Washington D.C, Boston, San Francisco and Hong Kong bureaux, the programming draws on Bloomberg’s 2,600 journalists and analysts across more than 120 countries who produce more than 5,000 stories each day.
“We are delighted to be increasing the UK distribution of Bloomberg Radio by partnering with Radioplayer,” says Justin Dewhirst, General Manager, Bloomberg Media, EMEA. “Our audience of business and financial professionals want to access Bloomberg’s smart, relevant content wherever they are, and expanding our audio strategy is another key milestone in our evolution towards a global, digital-first, truly cross-platform media brand,” he adds.
