Ziggo launching Italian app on Horizon

Liberty Global’s Dutch cable operator Ziggo is set to launch an app for the Horizon platform to distribute a bouquet of Italian language channels.
The new app, branded TV Italiano, will consist of live streams of Rai Uno, Rai Due, Rai Tre, Rai Storia, Rai News 24 and Mediaset Italia, and will launch in September. The content will be available om TVs only, with no access via tablets or smartphones.
Earlier this year, Ziggo launched a similar app in France, TV Française, offering French language channels.
