Fox debuts Outcast on Facebook Live

Fox, 21st Century Fox’s global flagship entertainment channel, will show the first episode of its new show Outcast on Facebook Live, becoming the first network in Europe and Africa to showcase a new drama on the social networking site’s service.
At 10pm (CET) on May 20th the pilot episode of Outcast will debut exclusively through Facebook Live across 61 European and African countries, including the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Sweden, Turkey and South Africa.
Described as an “epic horror story” by the show’s creator Robert Kirkman, who also created The Walking Dead, the series’ exclusive pilot preview will give viewers an exclusive preview before officially airing during the first week of June.
“Thanks to The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman has created an army of fans throughout the region,” said Diego Londono, COO, Fox Networks Group, Europe and Africa. “Fox is known for ‘The Best, First’ and by partnering with Facebook, we are giving the fans the chance to watch the new show at the same time across Europe and Africa.”
