Several Israeli newspapers report that Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a telephone call with French president Francois Hollande, demanded that a Palestinian TV channel Al-Aqsa be removed from Eutelsat’s Middle East satellite.
The Israeli press reports say that Eutelsat took the channel down this past weekend, only for the channel to reappear later transmitting from Nilesat which occupies at almost the same orbital (7 degrees West) position as the Eutelsat craft (8 deg West).
