D-Link adds IFTTT support to mydlink Home Ecosystem
March 1, 2016
D-Link today announced the incorporation of IFTTT (If This Then That) into the mydlink Home app across a suite of Smart Home devices, including the mydlink Home Smart Plug, Motion Sensor and Siren. To get your home talking, IFTTT support enables households to create conditional commands and link multiple IFTTT products and apps together for a completely customisable home automation experience.
“Users want to integrate and expand their home automation system with other devices and services, but without complicated or expensive set-up. With the integration of IFTTT into the mydlink Home ecosystem, users can enhance and expand control of their home using IFTTT recipes to trigger a variety of actions, creating an automated home designed to fit their needs,” said Paul Routledge, Country Manager UK & Ireland. “Integrating with IFTTT opens up a world of possibilities. Whether people are focused on keeping their property, family and belongings secure or just making everyday tasks easier, the opportunities are endless.”
