Global Eagle Entertainment has signed up India’s Jet Airways for its In Flight Entertainment (IFE) satellite-delivered system.
The 10-year agreement will see Jet Airways install Global’s Airtime IFE and streaming broadband service aboard its Boeing 737 aircraft.
Global Eagle say the timetable will see Jet Airways adopt its DRM technology, with in-cabin servers and WiFi routers which enable passengers to have access to movies, TV shows and other content direct to passengers’ laptops, tablets and smart phones.
