Netflix ‘self-build socks’ to pause TV

Netflix has released a “how-to” guide for festive socks that pauses the show the viewer is watching if they fall asleep. That solves one of the biggest binge-watching problems: losing track on when exactly the viewer stops paying attention.
It is an ambitious project – the guide recommends being comfortable with sewing and soldering and a working knowledge of electronics.
