VideoJug acquires Bladonmore assets
October 23, 2015
VideoJug Networks, the online TV group whose channels include Scoff, Pose and Decobliss has boosted its team, through the acquisition of the film and online assets of Bladonmore Europe, a specialist communications consultancy.
VideoJug Networks has more than 40 million monthly network views across a range of owned channels. In recent months, it has also launched a new platform for other publishers to commercialise video content.
The acquisition of Bladonmore’s team bolsters VideoJug’s ability to strategically advise clients on their online video requirements. Bladonmore has been providing film production services to clients since 2003. Its first film – Balance – was for BNP Paribas, the international bank to showcase its work with the Arts & Business charity. Subsequently Bladonmore has produced more than 600 corporate and brand films for clients across all sectors and geographies.
Richard Rivlin, founder of Bladonmore, will become Chairman of VideoJug Networks. He says, “Clients we have been talking to in recent months believe there is a revolution taking place in online film. This is our response. It is about VideoJug, an established media owner, committing to improve its production services arm by investing in the award winning Bladonmore team. Those corporate and brand clients now get to be advised by a combined team with a decade of experience in building audiences online and making the best use of data to serve their needs.”
