Sky appoints Head of Kids Content
September 17, 2015
Sky has confirmed that Lucy Murphy will become its new Head of Kids Content. Murphy has over 20 years of experience in producing and brand managing shows for children’s and family audiences. She will help ensure Sky continues to offer compelling kids content presented in creative and appealing ways.
Murphy will take up the newly-created role in November.
Stuart Murphy, Director of Entertainment, Sky, commented: “At Sky, we want to make sure we provide loads of great content for everyone in the household and our kids offering is a big part of that. Anyone with young kids knows that they want to watch their favourite shows when they want, wherever they are and over and over and over again. So as well as having the best selection of live channels, making sure we have the best on demand offer and the best kids app in the market is incredibly important. Lucy has considerable experience and expertise to make sure we do just that.”
