Tveter new role at Liberty Global

Liberty Global is enhancing its organisational structure: the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) regional organisation will become part of the newly created Central Europe (CE) Group together with the UPC Austria/upc cablecom regional organisation. Eric Tveter, CEO of the regional organisation made up of UPC Austria and upc cablecom, will also take up the post of CEO of the Central Europe (CE) Group.
In addition to UPC Austria/upc cablecom, the newly created Central Europe Group also includes the Central and Eastern Europe Group, comprised of Liberty Global’s cable operations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, as well as its UPC DTH satellite television services in the region based in Luxembourg. In addition to holding the position of CEO of this Group, Tveter will retain his role as CEO of UPC Austria and upc cablecom, and will reside in Zurich.
Alongside CEO Eric Tveter, Ivan Nash Vila will take on the role of CFO of the new Central Europe Group in addition to his position as CFO for UPC Austria/upc cablecom.
