Sony 4K mobile screen
September 3, 2015
Sony has unveiled its first smartphone to feature a 4K-resolution screen. The Xperia Z5 Premium model can both capture video in Ultra-HD and also play it back on its 14cm display without downgrading the footage.

Sony’s mobile division loses money – and has done for considerable time – but its camera components are profitable. Sony hopes that the addition of 4K photography will see its mobile phones business become profitable again in 2016.
