ITV commercial director steps down
November 27, 2014
ITV’s commercial director Fru Hazlitt has stepped down citing personal reasons, triggering the broadcaster’s first senior management change for over three years.
Hazlitt has overseen the company’s advertising and digital activities since August 2010, shortly after Adam Crozier took over as chief executive.
Crozier said that Hazlitt had been “a terrific member of the management team,” and had done a fantastic job in transforming ITV’s Commercial operation and building its Online, Pay and Interactive business.
Simon Pitts, ITV’s strategy director, will take control of online, pay-TV and interactive activities. Kelly Williams, Hazlitt’s number 2, will assume responsibility for commercial broadcasting.
